Author Guidelines

Frequency of Issue

The Cambodian Journal of Education, Management, and Development (CJEMD) welcomes manuscripts in English for publication. Two issues of the journal are published each year:

  • Issue 1: January–June (in 2026)
  • Issue 2: July–December (in 2026)

In 2015, only one issue was published in December. Authors are welcome to submit manuscripts year-round.

Manuscripts Accepted

  • Editorial (2,000–3,000 words, including references)
  • Original/Research Paper (8,000–10,000 words, including references)
  • Policy Paper (4,000–6,000 words, including references)

Paper Structure

Original Research Paper

Authors must collect and analyze new data and conduct original research. Suggested structure:

  • Abstract
  • Background
  • Conceptual Framework/Literature Review
  • Methodology
  • Results and Findings
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • References
  • Supplementary Data (if required)
Policy Paper or Short Communication

Focuses on a specific policy issue with clear recommendations for policymakers. Suggested structure:

  • Key Messages
  • Background
  • Methodology
  • Results and Findings
  • Discussion
  • References
  • Supplementary Data (if required)

Journal Structure

Each volume contains two issues, each including:

  • 1 Editorial

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
